Christmas Chickens

I must admit that my little etsy shop has been a bit neglected over the past months.  But in trying to restock, and bring a little bit of life back into it, I have created a little Christmas family of chickens to give it a bit of a spark.  I have so many ideas of things I would like to make and sell; however, they usually just sit quietly in the design stage of my mind.  Recently though my workshop has been waking up from its dry spell, and so I would like to introduce you to Jolly, Joy, and little Jingle.

They promise to add a bit of fun to any corner of your current Christmas decor, as well as make a delightful gift.

Happy Chickens

I have had my Etsy shop opened up for a couple of months now; and have found it to be an enjoyable adventure indeed. I find great delight in making my little chickens, and often wonder what their new surroundings will be like after I've popped them in the mail to their new caretakers. A very nice lady by the name of Kris has purchased several of them; and was kind enough to send me pictures of how she has hers displayed. I have to admit that when she sent me the pictures, I was very pleased to see how happy the little hens and chicks appear to be in their new home; and if you look real close, I think you will see them smiling.

Little Yellow Chicks

I have recently been recovering from a bout of the flu. So you can imagine my surprise to find that there has been non-stop activity in the hen house during my down time. You may remember this little hen sitting so patiently atop her cute little brown eggs:

Well, just look at her little chicks that are the reward for all of that patience:

Here are a couple of proud hens holding up one of the newly hatched chicks for all to see:
And of course the unique tail feathers of this particular breed are always a delight:

As the little chicks get stronger, they will be finding their way over to Warm and Sunny, my Etsy shop. Until then, all of the little chicks are getting to know one another, and enjoying their time together immensely.

Warm and Sunny

My little funny chickens have been very busy recently, and have now found the way to their very own Etsy shop entitled "Warm and Sunny". As you can see from this photo, they are very excited about this new adventure.

Several of the hens have even been sitting on their eggs looking forward to the little chicks that will be hatching soon.

So if you happen to be in the Etsy neighborhood, please stop by for a visit and say hi.
