Daffodils Make Me Smile
This time of year, daffodils have an amazing effect. The very presence of them in a room sets such a joyful tone. I simply love daffodils. We are blessed with their beauty for such a brief time. Unfortunately, I don't have any growing in my yard; but I will buy them at the grocery store when they are available. This particular batch was a gift from two of my daughters. They purchased them with the buds tightly closed:

I love daffodils too - I think I love them because they sigal the end of Winter. I always have bought daffodils in my house - I like to leave the ones in my garden to grow.

Yes, I have been very busy (mostly not feeling much like cooking). We found out in February we are expecting our 8th child in October! I am beginning to feel less queasy and hope to be back to blogging soon.
I love daffys too! I am lucky enough to have them in my garden and as we speak they are popping out of the ground, durable little beautys. At my house the Daffys are often surrounded by snow and they still show their sweet faces.
In case you don't know already, if you put a teaspoon of bleach in the water they will last much longer.
