A Growing Garden

After a late start in planting my garden, it is finally beginning to show promise that I will indeed enjoy a harvest after all.

The cucumbers are growing (and yes, my garden soil is really this rocky .... that's just how it is where I live; but the veggies really don't mind a bit):


The beans are finally blossoming:




I actually have a couple of peppers for picking:




And the tomatoes might still be green, but with all of our hot weather, it won't be long.

It is good to see that you have such promising results from your late start. My daughter, Melissa, started a garden about a month ago. It was a hobby I thought worth her pursuing, even though late in the year. She is hoping to make some salsa and use herbs in her cooking creations.

Found you on farm chicks. I love my garden to! The tomatoes, squash, cucks! Yours looks so wonderful. Have a tomato sandwich for me!
